Bill and Lou Rhyne started Rhynes buying and selling antiques by knocking on doors in the Chattanooga area. Bill also hauled loads of antiques from Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. Over the years they operated several antique shops and sold at auctions. With their love of antiques and desire to make beautiful and great items more available to more people, they began importing antique reproductions from many different countries. Now the business is owned by their son in law and their youngest daughter, Bob and Jovanna Gurley.
Dealers are welcome to come and shop at their 32,000 square feet of warehouse space. Rhynes also ship orders out daily by UPS and truck freight. They carry depression-style glassware, cast iron décor, furniture, metal and enamel signs, stained glass windows and lamps, outdoor wire, home décor and much more.
